Tales of Footwear !!

I don’t know what’s wrong with my chappals. My footwear does not last for more than 2 months, how much ever it is branded and a good quality. It just does not last longer.

Sometimes, when I walk in the street, I feel people may think that I have drunk; because that is the way I walk. I just suddenly slip or sometimes, I walk like a snake, one step in the right side, other step in the left side. I just don’t know why I do it. PK always fires me for that, as I just don’t see the road and just walk blindly. I don’t see the humps; don’t see the water, just step on to that blindly. I always wear a flat chappal, as I am not comfortable with the heels, but I always slip in the flat chappal, just imagine, what will be my state, when I try to wear the heels? It’s horrible. Many times I have twisted my leg because of this. Luckily, I have not had any fracture, touch wood!! Once, I even fell down near the railway station, when I was getting down from the steps. Disgusting!!

I usually buy the branded chappals, but since it does not last for more than two months and the guarantee is of 6 months, I visit the shop once again and ask them to repair the same. I have done it many times in that shop. Usually I go to the shop in the evening around 8PM. Now, whenever I visit that shop, the shopkeeper upon seeing me, immediately tell the assistants that we should close the door, immediately. Such is the state of mine. I know there are N numbers of stores for chappals, but I am always loyal to one store and do not like to go to many stores. So I have already lost many stores like that.

I don’t know why it happens only with me? PK will always be irritated with this. Above all, I don’t like to throw the old chappals and feel that there is a scope of repair to the old chappal and hence there is so many pair of chappal lying in the stand. Every time, PK tries to clear the junk, I tell him that I will get it repaired and keep it like that. But I never did it. So last week, when he was clearing, he not even checked with me and just threw many set of my chappals. I felt bad about my chappals, as I have started getting too much attached to my chappals. Anyway, to cut short the story, now I have got only two pairs of chappals.

I think I need to improve my walking style; otherwise, I will end up in big disaster, ouch!!

What about you? Do you have any tales about chappals?
